Resale Tip – How to Source at Savers / Value Village.

Resellers know that where to get your inventory is pretty key. A resale source is a highly private and personal thing! Sourcing can look very different depending on where you are located. Some ways to source are: tag/yard sales, retail liquidation/arbitrage, donations, and thrifts. Here at Thrifting New England, we typically prefer small local thrifts. One alternative small local thrifts is Savers, which is more of a large chain store type of resale store. It CAN be a good source if you know how to shop.

My Exciting Resale Adventure as an Auction Newbie

I went to my first in-person auction yesterday. B&K Green Mountain Auctions, LLC in Brattleboro VT held a socially distanced outdoor auction Saturday, September 5th. I have never been to one before and didn’t fully know what to expect. My knowledge of the basics of auctions comes from a mix of on-line auctions and TV shows. Deals, mistakes and definitely a learning curve!
