When shopping (online especially, but even in the current era where fitting rooms are often closed due to Covid-19 regulations), it is a good idea to know your measurements. An easy way to do this is to take flat, unstretched measurements of an item that fits you well and compare it to the same measurements on a piece you have your eye on. Quick and Easy Ways to Make Used Clothes Look (And Smell) New

We get clothes for resale in a variety of conditions. Because I have to be careful to balance the work with the reward, so we’ve learned a lot of simple tricks to make clothes look their best.

My tool kit consists of

  • A handheld steamer.  I prefer my handheld PurSteam to a floor model. I frequently work in different parts of my house (or even in my back yard) and appreciate the portability. Floor models offer larger tanks sizes and need to be filled less frequently
  • A spray bottle full of cheap vodka. For odor removal.
  • Oxiclean Max-Force Gel Stick. Our go-to stain treatment
  • Cuticle Scissors.  We’ve found Trimming loose threads makes more of a difference than you’d think.
  • A Sweater Shaver

Finding Motivation as a Small Business Owner – How To Keep Going!

It is unlikely that you will succeed if you aren’t able to keep finding motivation as a small business owner. A huge advantage of starting your own company is not having anyone telling you what to do when. A huge danger is that without external accountability you’ll decide that there are days where junk food and Downton Abbey are more tempting than the work you know you need to get done. There are still days where it is a challenge, but I'd like to share some of my strategies for finding motivation when it can seem hard to find.
