Crosslisting Programs -Which is Better for You? Vendoo vs. ListPerfectly.

Resellers know there are MANY tools out there to help run and grow your business. We’ve newly acquired a LARGE amount of dollhouses, dollhouse furniture, and miniature accessories. We realized that we could use some of the tools to help us – namely, crosslisting programs! Recently, a lot of buzz has surfaced regarding crosslisting programs. We examined two crosslisting programs, Vendoo and ListPerfectly and wanted to give feedback for people wondering which one is the best fit for how they operate.

Vendoo is new!

First and foremost, Vendoo is the new kid on the block in the crosslisting program world. We have heard good things and were excited to give the free service a try. We already had experience with ListPerfectly and wanted to compare. Vendoo has a really user friendly layout and interface. The tutorial videos were really great in terms of how to utilize the service. I had hoped that it would be really easy in terms of inventory management, as that is something I really struggle with perfecting. Currently, we use a spreadsheet in Google sheets and while it is functional, I just feel it could be way better and more user-friendly.

I did not get the sense that Vendoo offers analytics and CSV sheets. Their website does indicate that those types of services are in the works. Rumor has it that many people have had great experiences thus far with Vendoo. One significant drawback is the limited amount of available marketplaces (Poshmark, Mercari, eBay, Depop, Grailed, Etsy). One big miss for us was the lack of Facebook Marketplace as a site. A fair amount of our sales are through Facebook. I was kind of disappointed with the tier system for what you get for your investment. It felt like several features would be an extra cost. It may be good for a more casual reseller who doesn’t want the commitment of a high monthly fee.

ListPerfectly in a Nutshell!

I admit, we had some experience with ListPerfectly first, but as I personally never used it, I was able to really compare both services. ListPerfectly had a harder to navigate interface. I found myself having to check multiple videos in order to really hone in on the activities I wanted. Additionally, ListPerfectly had a lot of markets available, which was great. Almost overwhelming. If I had a little more time using it, it would become easier. ListPerfectly offers the following marketplaces: Kidizen, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, Amazon, Poshmark, Mercari, Tradesy, eBay, Etsy, Grailed, and Depop. They also offer unlimited crosslisting.

The back-end side of things does seem to offer more business “ins and outs”. More of what I personally was looking for, in terms of inventory management and CSV reports. I did not get to set it up completely yet, but I think over time it would be really easy to use. I was especially impressed with the delist function (which Vendoo also offers).

The a la cart options Vendoo offers are certainly lower cost initially, but several features are additional monthly charges. If you aren’t careful, they can add up quickly. In that same vein, when using ListPerfectly, you’ll want to keep an eye on your number of products in your LP catalog so as not to go over and cost an additional upgrade charge. I get the sense that either service would be great if you are VERY small and only need a few things, or VERY large and have the capital to use many features. I am looking forward to giving these services a solid go the rest of the week as I list ALL of our newly acquired dollhouses and dollhouse accoutrement. How do you feel about crosslisting programs?
